Founded by Chris Nethercoat and Scott Savoy in the stunning, emerging, Northumberland Strait Coastal Wine Region. Situated along Canada’s warmest salt waters and influenced by the continental westerlies, our unique terroir features mica-rich soils and coastal breezes—perfect for growing both hybrid and vinifera grapes such as L’Acadie Blanc and champagne varietals.

With nearly two decade of experience and a passion for viticulture and plant science, Scott Savoy brings expertise honed at renowned wineries like Benjamin Bridge and Pearl Morissette to Nethercoat Estates.

As head vigneron, and driven by a philosophy of natural wine making and sustainable farming, Scott’s vision for lighter, fresher, premium wines shines through. Scott’s intuitive perspective of our terroir is on full display with the debut of seasonal Pét-Nat, paving the way for a full portfolio of exceptional whites, reds, and sparkling wines that showcase the uniqueness of the Northumberland Strait terroir.
